free and easy to understand Braille tutorials.

owned by Blindness Related Learning.

What does Braille School offer?
Braille School offers "do it yourself" courses in Braille to aid in the communication among
people who are living with a visual impairment. These courses will also allow people who
do not have a disability to learn Braille, not only if they need it for work, but also to
be able to communicate with people who are affected with a visual disability, otherwise
known as a sensory disability.
Many people who can see think that they need to read Braille with their fingers, but this
is not so. Many people who can see are able to read Braille with their eyes, so nobody can
truthfully say that there is no reason for them to learn Braille.
Why was Braille School created?
Braille School was created to offer the ability for people from all walks of life to learn
Braille at their own pace. It is known in past experiences that people learn much faster
when they are able to learn at their own speed.
The founder of Blindness Related Learning has known many types of websites to offer such a
service, but the services offered were not easy to learn by, and many of those websites did
not have the experience in teaching communication tools such as Braille in an easy and
effective manner.
The founder of Blindness Related Learning felt that people, regardless of their upbrining
or location, should have an exciting and rewarding time when learning something new.
Braille is an invaluable tool for daily living, communication, and to have the resources
at hand to be able to do things for themselves. Communication is a large part of a persons
daily life, and this is true for those who are blind and visually impaired as well. That
is why this website was setup.
How much does Braille School charge for their services?
We do not charge for our services, but donations from its members are more than welcome.
How is Braille School funded?
Braille School is funded by its founder, but donations are more than welcome.
